Trained as an engineer, Brian earned his M.S.degree in neuroscience from the University of Arizon in Tucson and has since contributed independently developing multiple in-vivo, freely-moving electrophysiology laboratories (Pfizer and Biogen) supporting the identification of potentially translatable neurophysiology biomarkers using techniques such as polysomnography, quantitative EEG, sensory evoked/induced potentials, transient oscillatory patterns and neuronal plasticity.
Formerly at Biogen and Pfizer, Brian supported a number of research efforts in the areas of neurodegenerative disorders and rare, neurodevelopmental disease programs including pre-clinical assay development, animal model phenotyping and evluating ASO and gene replacement therapies.
